The Perthshire Amber Big Knit 2021 comes to a brilliant end...

Following a weekend of music and friendship here at Butterstone last weekend (with 3 successful global live streams during 24 hours!) we have had 4 days flurry of Big Knit activity. With the help of all our knitters and those who have generously donated we have in less than two weeks reached our target and more!! Thanks to everyone who has helped ...especially Dougie's mum Dolly for her wonderful knitting and Tanya for helping me pack up all the knitted goodies into parcels for sending all over the world!! And now Dougie and I are delighted to contribute another £1,000 which is the promised percentage of our ticket sales for special concert "Dougie MacLean - Live 100". Thanks to all who bought tickets for that concert.

So….Wow! what an ending to the PERTHSHIRE AMBER BIG KNIT 2021 GLOBAL FUNDRAISER!! ... when we include off-line donations and combine with our "Dougie MacLean - Live 100" ticket percentage we have in fact raised £4,142.24 during 2021 for the wonderful charity Cyrenians.
